Awarded first place in the state in the 2025 SkillsUSA Pin Design competition, this design represents the state of Tennessee with a blend of symbolism and craftsmanship. The concept features a cowboy boot entwined with blooming irises—the state flower—set against a pearlescent background that reflects Tennessee’s natural beauty and heritage. A ribbon wraps around the boot, displaying essential text elements with clarity and balance. This project required a deep understanding of visual storytelling, design precision for production at a small scale, and adherence to strict competition guidelines. The final result showcases my ability to create meaningful, iconic visuals under pressure while representing my state with pride.
